Remote User Microscope Webcam

This live webcam is permanently attached to a Leica DMRM optical microscope in the cleanroom. This same microscope uses the Pinnacle PCTV system to capture still microscope images. As with the other SNF live webcams, images displayed may be within a second or two of the actual event depending on the connection speed used. No media players are needed; however, Java must be enabled on your browser. High resolution still images are captured using Semicaps software and can be downloaded at the Image Download Page. To use these web tools, contact Mike Deal.

Leica Optical Microscope

Camera 3 is a Cohu 2222 CCD camera, attached to the Leica DMRM optical microscope. The composite output from the camera feeds directly to a computer for webcasting. Limited adjustments may be made to the brightness and other parameters by moving to the bottom left of the image and clicking on "iVista". In general the defaults should be used.
