Greetings Raith Community:

All Users are requested to be more careful and conscientious when performing your LOAD LOCK procedures.

Several Users have encountered a Load Lock error coming onto the system when the previous User did not ensure that the Door is held down upon the starting of the Load Lock Pump down and/or exits out of the Raith Application before it completes.  This has resulted in > 24 hours of lost system time in the last seven days!

It is expected that if you initiate a Load Lock Procedure upon the beginning or the end of your system session, that you will please stand by to ensure that the Door is held down and that the turbo has started pumping and that the Load Lock procedure completes without problems.

Users are once again reminded that the RAITH computer's keyboard is locked out during the entire Load Lock Procedure and that the system is not 'Locked Up'

Finally always if you encounter a problems or a pop up dialog box during the pump down that indicates that "Load Lock cannot be pumped", ALWAYS press 'RETRY' after checking the status of the turbo pump controller.  Should the Turbo pump have errored, and the controller is displaying a steady RED lamp then you can simply press the red button next to the red lamp and it should turn to green and start the Turbo Pump again. Then press 'RETRY' and it will resume the Load Lock procedure.

Let us all please be careful and see if we can get through a week without any further downtime.

Thank you for your support!
