Greetings Raith Community:

The RAITH 150 system has completed it upgrade to version 4 hardware and software package.
The system has been tested in three separate qualification runs and all display excellent resolution and write field to write field stitching results.
The system writes significantly faster than before and Users are requested to time and compare their pattern writes to times of the old system.

User files were migrated onto the new RAITH PC system today.
The entire user files from the old raith PC are in the directory: C:\raith150_V3_OLDFILESYSTEM.DIR
ALL USERS should transfer into their new user directories data that they desire to place on the new system, once their login and directories are placed onto the system upon your re-qualification on the RAITH 150 Tool.  i.e., C:\Raith150\user\username\  You only need to transfer your old images, Position List data (*.PLS) and GDSII files, and any project files you wish to move to the new system. You need not transfer all the old stuff and this will assist you in cleaning up your data files.

As per my previous message last week and this morning, ALL USERS will need some additional training and to be re-qualified to operate the tool.
I will also need to establish new login for each user or group before you can start operations on the system.

Tomorrows demo and retraining session will begin at about 1:30 - 1:45 PM today. All Users desiring to come onto the tool this week are welcome to attend.

 See my other sessions
reserved under JWC on Coral, or schedule and obtain a slot for training during James' Office hour through this week and next.

Thank  you for your support,

James Conway
