Veeco has informed me the AFM2 scanner is in transit.  It should 
arrive this afternoon.  You can start making reservations beginning

Well,

The scanner came back but they did not return our tip holder and it 
doesn't look like they addressed the tip coupling problem.  I'm 
trying to reach them by phone, but so far only voice mails.

Unless someone has a spare tip holder, I'm not sure how we are going 
to collect any data.

Subject: Conductive Cantilever Holder Returned

All,

Our Conductive Cantilever Holder has returned from it's tour.  I have 
put it back by the tool.  I have not used this holder, but I think 
you should be able to use it over the weekend.
