AFM2 Repair

All,
At long last I have received permission from Veeco (an RMA) to send
our AFM scanner back for repair. I do not know how long it will
take, but it could be a few weeks. In the past Veeco would provide a
loaner scanner to keep their customers working during the repair. It
appears this service is no longer available, but I am still trying.
Is everyone ready for the system to go down for an extended period of
time or should we limp along?
