All,

The ! drive on the AFM2 continues to house lab member files.  This is 
only for temporary storage.  Since many are unable to clean up their 
files, it is time for me to do an indiscriminate delete all from this 
directory.  If you have something that is important to you, the file 
should not be in this directory.

All,

I just received a call from Veeco.  They are ready to work on our 
scanner.  I will pull the system out and get it shipped today.  Veeco 
said it will take a "couple of days" for the repair.

The AFM2 scanner is back from it's latest round of repairs.  I sure 
hope it makes it more than a week this time.
