Problem amtetcher SNF 2011-04-09 16:50:17: wand broken and pneumatics finicky

the wand is missing the entire quartz piece.  
also, the pneumatics that actuate the tray holder seem a little off.  had to jiggle the part that comes down a few times in order for it to work on almost every time coming down (goes back up without issue).  you can hear a very light, but still audible hiss when you've jiggled it enough to work.
