Problem aw610_r SNF 2011-12-09 09:50:43: went to dos mode

I was trying to edit a recipe and wanted to exit without saving.  so exit out of the recipe edit mode by canceling.  System exited out of the windows mode into the dos mode.  do not knbow how to get back to the operating window.
