I finally got him off the list ... it was tricker than you might suppose
becuase he was never a lab member.  All of our stuff to automatically deal
with mailing lists assume that mail is sent to name at snf.stanford.edu (even if
it is then forwarded to different_name at somewhere.else.com) ... so, previous
attempts to remove this guy from the lists failed.

But, it should be OK now ....
