For /etc/network/interfaces:
IP address: 171.64.100.40
netmask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 171.64.100.1
(And then run 'ifdown eth0; ifup eth0'.)
For /etc/resolv.conf:
domain stanford.edu
nameserver 171.64.7.55
nameserver 171.64.7.77
nameserver 171.64.7.99
That should be enough to get the machine on the network so that I can
log in remotely. At that point I can change the hostname from
cnf-scope to snf-scope, test the configuration of the microscope, and
do any other configuration changes which are required.
Thanks!
Regards,
