I checked with my IT dept and they say it looks like a problem on Stanford end. Could you please help me resolve this? Thanks. Don Disney Donald R. I have a machine in the ebeam lab that I wish to use as a pattern storage and editing system to receive patterns from other systems in SNF and SU. I wish this to be secured similar to the systems in the shades cluster AND have a port to the internet to run netscape and similar applications. This is a PC running win NT. Can you help us review if this system configured properly, give it a secured port inside the SNF firewall, and if possible set up for limited access to the internet through netscape and SSH? The ability to ftp from the shades cluster inbound to this system would be desirable as well. We wish to call this system RAITH_Pattern or a similar moniker. Thank you for your support. I need this within two weeks to meet my plan. It's not clear to me what has changed. My email address is the same as it has been and I continue to receive other emails from Labmembers. I do know that the IT group has made upgrades to our company system from time to time but I did'nt think this would be the cause. I'm attaching some of them for you to look over. PLease let me know if it can be fixed. I would like not to be decomissioned off any of the equipment. This makes me suspect this may be a recent problem. (These PC's are quite busy with LEdit users.) The hardware key looks like it's still in place. What else can I check? Do we have disks for this -- and if so, can I borrow them? (Or do we download from their website?) Thanks, Mary -- Mary X.
