Postgres?

Bill and Mike:

Is it OK if I download and install a version of Postgres on one or more of our
machines?  It appears as if I need postges on one of them to get the ora2pg
conversion stuff to work ... plus, that will allow me to make help
differentiate postgres vs. linux/solaris problems if I encounter
difficulties.  I'm assuming that I won't need a lot of space since I don't
plan to populate the database (other than enough configuration stuff to run
