The logs show that the Coral jar cannot be authenticated. I noticed that the certificate expired sometime last year. Could that be the problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Juan Ferrera From shott at snf.stanford.edu Fri Jul 5 08:03:19 2002 From: shott at snf.stanford.edu (John Shott) Date: Fri, 05 Jul 2002 08:03:19 -0700 Subject: problems running remote coral under Linux References: Message-ID: <3D25B537.8897C9E9@snf.stanford.edu> Juan: Which version of Java are you running on your Linux machine? You can probably find out by issuing the command "which java" or "java -version". If you are running JDK 1.4, you need to make a minor change to the java installation. If java is installed in the default linux loaction ... /usr/j2sdk1.4.0, I think, then you will find a file named /usr/j2sdk1.4.0/jre/lib/jce.jar (you may need to change the /usr/j2sdk1.4.0 dependent on your installation. In any event, if you find that file and name it jce.jar.ignore, I suspect that things will be OK. It appears that Ciara is using the advisor field to store the company name so I've included the advisor name from the member table. Oracle 9.2 was released in March of 2002. I've sent an email to our Oracle licensing people to see if I can get a copy of 9.2. Oracle XML DB provides high-performance, native XML storage and retrieval technology including XML Schema support, an early implementation of SQL/XML (an emerging standard for querying XML from the ISO and ANSI SQL standards efforts), XML Indexes, and JDBC support.
