Problem headway2 SNF 2007-10-04 10:34:03: white residue on benchtop

There is some small spots of thick white film on the benchtop   (cool grease comes to mind, but not sure what it is). Tried
to wipe up, but difficult to remove even with acetone soaked 
technicloth. Doesn't impede headway use.
