After coating 4 wafers it did not work anymore. It seems the vacuum is too low. I put it in yellow, maybe someone knows how to get it back working again because there are many who want to use it on the weekend. Message-ID: I found, by looking at the vacuum gauge that the spindle was plugged. I removed the two caps on the cross and rodded out the spindle so that vacuum now gets to the chuck. However, the spindle still does not turn, but seems to be free. I did not have a chance to check out the vacuum switch but suspect that it may be the problem. In particular, it doesn't seem to pull in very muchunder vacuum. I can't seem to get voltage probes to it, however, to see if it is changing state, electrically. I need to leave now but may try again tomorrow morning.
