Problem headway2 SNF 2010-01-29 20:48:34: spins without chuck

With a bit of welding rod, I was able to "rod out" the spindle shaft.  It
now requires vacuum to spin.  Blockage did not seem particularly
severe .... just a light blockage up near the top of the shaft.
Likely Mario and Gary will do a more comprehensive job of fixing this
on Monday, but this should get us through the weekend.
