From mtang at snf.stanford.edu Mon Jul 16 13:37:53 2007 From: mtang at snf.stanford.edu (Mary Tang) Date: Mon, 16 Jul 2007 13:37:53 -0700 Subject: YES Oven is now on Coral!!! Message-ID: <469BD721.8010407@snf.stanford.edu> Hi everyone -- Just to let you know about a change in procedure. The YES oven is now officially on Coral and interlocked. There is NO LAB CHARGE for use of the YES oven, but it MUST be enabled in order for it to run. By having the YES oven on Coral, we can track its performance and usage. We can also better troubleshoot problems if we have a documentable history on its use. However.... Please understand that just because there is no fee that you can leave it enabled.... Remember, that when you are enabled on a tool, you are responsible for it! Everyone previously qualified on svgcoat, headway2, and laurell-R who has been active in the lab over the past year should be automatically qualified to use the YES oven. If not, please contact a staff member. (If you have not used the lab for over a year, a refresher on lab safety is required -- see the Lab Manual on Policies & Procedures.) You can check for yourself (I believe) on the Coral Resource page by checking "Roles." If there are any questions, let us know -- Mary -- Mary X.
