Message-ID: The bell jar hit one of posts (rear left one) when closing (Not sure if this was seen by the previous user). After this the bell jar was not closing properly. I managed to close it and the chamber is being pumped properly. USERS please check the proper closing of the chamber before starting the pump. Please lower slowly and watch the bell jar to see if it closes. It seems that the bell jar is again rotating and has problems in closure. Also, on the crucible, to the left of target no. Three, there is a metal spot from evaporated residue that can not be easily cleaned.
