At this time I can NOT hear any abnormal sounds. Sometimes air is trying to move through the bell jar and will make a noise like rattling. This noise is OK. Jim and I listened to the planetary rotating under vacuum and when the system was vented. Still nothing abnormal. OK to use system. OK to use as long as the ATM light does go out. If it doesn't go out, press the red stop button to stop the roughing pump. Raise the bell jar (about 6 inches). Lower the bell jar again (verifying) that the back end of the bell jar is laying flat. and press F5 again , Watch that the ATM light goes out.
