We all know that there are times we can't use the time we reserve. It is greatly appreciated when emails are sent out letting other users know that the time is available. Also, if you don't need to have the machine pumpdown/deposition overnight, please don't reserve the system for that long period of time. There are users who would gladly run the system at 1:00am as opposed to coming in at10:00am. Message-ID: I just did my deposition. The pressure after 3hrs pumping was 1.0 10^-6. I pre-deposited 800 A of Ti and I brought the pressure down to 1.3 10^-7, but I could not do better than that. Also when letting the crucible cool down, usually the pressure slightly decrease, but today increased, and as soon as I stopped the deposition (the second layer, Ni) the pressure increased again. maybe that's beacuse it was left vented for too long, or maybe because the problem is not solved yet. Anyway, innotec is free from now until 10pm, and I also removed the reservation tomorrow. Maybe the next user will have more luck (please report the results), but I would not try critical depositions requiring very low pressure.
