I put in new pellets, but you must be careful in adding them. If you add pellets up to the top of the crucible you will have problems. You should only add one layer at a time and then melt them down. To rebuild the source will take multiple depositions. Each lab member should only add one layer of pellets at a time. If you fill the crucible all the way, you will leave trapped air in the source which will splatter during deposition. Be careful rebuilding the source and the next time stop using it before you run it down so far.
