Subject: damaged Chuck

Hello all,

I like to say that this is totally sad that the piece chuck with vacuum 
ring has ben damaged and  I am not sure that we will have the money to 
replace it at this time. The chuck was ok till end of last week. Mario 
says even by Friday.
I like to know what happened,? It seems to me like something fell on it 
and chipped the corner of the chuck. I will see what can be done but I 
am not very hopeful at this time.
The chuck cost about  $6000 to $7000.
