Greetings Labmembers:

Just wanted to let you know that it's that time of year again -- EE410
is starting up! For those who are not familiar with this revered
institution, EE410 is the "Integrated Circuit Fabrication Laboratory"
class, where we get to introduce young grad students to the arcane arts
of ultratech, tylans, wet benches, and other joys.

There will be about 20 new students, spread across four sections to be
held on Wednesdays and Thursdays in the lab over the next six or so
weeks. The lead TA for this class is Steve Jurichich (stevej at snf).
Gladys Sarmiento (gladys at snf) is the lead SNF staff person.

Although scheduling will be done in to try to minimize disruption to the
lab, we ask that labmembers understand that EE410 is top priority for
SNF staff -- these students, after all, are likely to become our
labmates for years to come...

On next week's schedule, Gladys has reserved the following systems on
Coral for EE410 class use (on Wednesday/Thursday, 1/16-1/17): svgcoat,
svgdev, ultratech, and drytek2. Please make a note of this,
particularly as reservations are not normally made on svgcoat and
svgdev. These systems might be available for periods of time during
these days -- but understand that EE410 reservations take priority --
please check with SNF staff before using these systems on Wednesday and
Thursday.

More updates on EE410 scheduling will follow...

Regards all,

Mary
