Hi All,

I've booked out some time Monday night through Tuesday AM to 
hopefully complete the cryo regen which is needed shortly.  

The machine is usable Monday.  I have tried to schedule this in 
between users' reservations, but it might run over a bit.  
Let me know if this looks like it might cause problems for anyone.

Hello --

Is anyone planning on doing a Cr/Au deposition who might have some extra
room for a wafer or two?  The thickness is not important.  The wafers
have photoresist on them.  They are for an amazingly cool project for a
group studying the electronic properties of DNA.  I'll gladly return the
favor in kind (can I process something for you?) or lunch (someplace
interesting!)

It is o.k. to put resist in metalica. It's used for liftoff. Baking for
30-60 min at 110 C before hand is not a bad idea.

But you can't sputter Ni in metalica.  It's not a contamination 
issue, it just won't work.  Attempting to do so could cause 
damage.  Let me know if you have any more questions about it.

The cryo will be back on line tomorrow (Saturday) morning. 
I also fixed the flakey T/c vacuum gauge on the front panel,
so it should give more consistent readings now.   I'll try to 
clean the sputter gun tooling this weekend.

Hello all,

I like to suggest that starting Tuesday  7/31 you are only allowed to
make 4 hours of reservation during prime hours. Prime hours are 7 in the
morning till 7 in the afternoon. If there is more that one person in the
group still respect the 4 hours reservation or I will limit the weekly
usage till Innotech comes up.
If you make reservation, make sure to show up as I give myself the right
to charge you as I see more  people making reservation and not showing
up. The rule for reservation is if your are not there within 15 minutes
of your reserved time next person can get on the system.


Open to comment and suggestion.
