From matteoja at stanford.edu Sat May 10 09:07:42 2003 From: matteoja at stanford.edu (Joseph A. Matteo) Date: Sat, 10 May 2003 09:07:42 -0700 Subject: user courtesy Message-ID: <001a01c3170e$498b1ae0$f96040ab@fummer> I happened to notice that several shifts that people signed up for on Friday went unused. As a result of these shifts being signed for, I had to unnecessarily get up at 6a.m. on a Saturday to use the machine. If these people would have had the common courtesy to let fellow labmates know (via this email list) when they aren't going to use a shift, they could save them from having to work late night and weekend shifts. Please, in the future let everyone know if you aren't going to use a shift. What goes around comes around and it is likely to help you in the future too. Thanks, Joe Joseph A. Matteo Dept. If it become problematic and the system stay unused we can charge the one whom made the reservation and did not use the time so please lets communicate among ourselves. "Joseph A. This morning I found the gate valve one turn from fully closed, and because of this the cryo pump temperature was high and had to be regenerated again (it had just been regenerated this past Wednesday).
