Please let me know if it is ok to proceed. 1) HV is enabled. 2) IN USE sign is on. 3) Chamber is only pumped down to 300 micron. Please either Jeanie or the previous user (Zhiping Zhang) let me know if I can proceed. The machine worked fine when I used it. I was in a hurry and forgot to check all the standby conditions. The clamp came loose once when Benny was using it yesterday and once again today when I was using it. If the clamp comes off when you start roughing, it just wouldn't pump down so you'll notice. But I am worried that if it is not clamped and get knocked off for some reason during cryo pumping, then it's bad for cryo; so it might be best to visually check before you leave it pumping. Just a precaution... Thanks for reading! It only lasted sixteen days. In the past we've been using about 1 Gold target a month. As everyone knows the price of Gold continually goes up. I went through the log-sheets and most of the time Users are logging all pertinent information except for number of wafers processed. This has become important so that I can have a better idea on how many wafers are being processed. By the time I get a quote from the vendor for Gold (varies day by day) and place my order, he too has to order Gold and size it for Metalica. This can take weeks. So please make sure you fill out all areas of the log sheet. The vendor plans on getting a few targets to me by tomorrow (6/25/10) sometime.
