Problem p2 SNF 2008-07-16 11:33:59: stylus force too high error message

during initialization, a red box come up reading stylus force too high, turn adjustment screw clockwise. Press any key to continue. 
I just pressed any key to continue, and tried a scan, but it aborts itself in the first two seconds of the scan.  I think someone needs to turn the stylus adjustment screw clockwise, wherever it may be.
