From rcrane at snf.stanford.edu Fri Dec 3 13:42:44 2004 From: rcrane at snf.stanford.edu (Dick Crane) Date: Fri, 03 Dec 2004 13:42:44 -0800 Subject: Status report Message-ID: <41B0DDD4.E9614BD9@snf.stanford.edu> Pquest users, As you know we lost the turbo last week. After determining that it was not field repairable, several pump rebuilders were contacted for rebuilds or exchanges. Rebuild time is 2-3 weeks. We have located an exchange unit in New Jersey and our pump has been shipped there today. The company is awaiting arrival of our purchase order before releasing the exchange pump. We are now expediting the paperwork. The tool may be back up early in the week 12/13. We are trying a temporary repair by adapting a larger turbo to the pquest. An adapter flange is currently being made and should be here this Tuesday. The temporary pump operational status is unknown, so this repair may not work. If it does, the tool may be available by next Wednesday. Stay tuned for further updates. Dick
