Part(s) for the Z motor mechanical shaft linkage have been odered when this assembly was found to be binding up causing excessive current draw to the Z motor. software settings were changed to reduce to speed of this motor during travel resulting in current draw below the limit settings. I am currently testing this interface and will attempt tp qualify the system for performance and resolution today. Parts are on order ... Load Lock Robot Arm status: During the initial part of qualifications we encountered Load Lock Transfer robot positioning issues resulting in numerous errors within the SW. resulting in fatal Load Lock procedure errors. I opened up access to the Transfer robot arm belt and adjusted tension on this belt upwards and downwards several times until reaching what I expect is the correct belt tension. During mechanical inspection of the upper robot arm plate I identified several mounting screws that had become loosened during usage and possibly during recent Field service and testing. Torqued these screws gently to a figer tight pressure while I await the torque specifications from RAITH and also desire to locate a metric torque wrench. The system will remain off line to Users until I can resolve these issues in order to protect the Laser Interferometer stage and especially the mirrors from damage. I do not feel it is suitable to have Users perform manual loads and unloads using the service controls at this time. Message-ID: Good morning, Raith Field service has been working diligently and through the early morning hours the past two evenings in order to effect repairs to several sub-systems on the tool that had caused problems during Startup and Qualifications last week. I will need to perform the full factory acceptance testing qualification, in addition the normal SNF system performance qualification template, to establish baselines on the system performance before I return the system to User access. I am scheduled on the tool tomorrow from 2 - 6 PM, and am taking the time from 2 - 6 PM today, when I will attempt to get as far as I can before leaving. I hope to complete the bulk of this work tomorrow afternoon. Seeking Raith champions and experienced users in critical project or conference deadline anc access need to assist in this work overnight through tomorrow AM. We are not following the CORAL schedule until 6 PM tomorrow so please see me for access to the tool overnight and tomorrow morning either during my Office Hour today till 10 AM or AFTER 2 PM today. Quickly shut down the water and isolated the system electrically before opening the front panel to reduce the electrical hazards. Once we opened the front panel we discovered that the inbound water connection to the E/O card had fractured and broke off as the cooling line was pressurized. It was not leaking very long and the total volume is est. to be less than 1 gallon. A new E/O card will be fedXed overnight from New York State. We are cleaning up all the water inside and under the equipment.
