The faraday cup on holder is not measuring current properly---I have to go to the farday cup on stage.... 2. The WD is behaving funny--I put WD=5 in raith--but when I tried to focus+ stigamte--the WD in SEM went back to 3--- and then after proper focusing and stigmation the WD reads 2.6mm--generally it reads 4.9-5.1 mm... After then, I tried to turn on and off the beam. However, the SEM image was not generated. So, I decided to unload my samples and reboot the SEM computer. But, during the unloading process, the error message came out. Now, in the raith computer, there was an error message which ask me if I reattempt the unload procedure or interupt the procedure. Will need to return settings to normal when resolved; likely by replacing the Y motor control motor or coupling. RAITH field service responded immediately by phone and will be sending out Lev Markov when has returned to bay area shortly. I just set the virtual motor contol settings for this module to 0.5 mm sec and tested sucessfully. Motor is being shipped from NY State tomorrow morning and likely will be installed mid to late Thursday. Please perform all moves either in a position list or using stage control, and avoid using the joystick at HIGH speeds.
