This microswitch recently has become troublesome and it has a very narrow range to allow the switch to make. if the SEC gate valve does not open upon switch actuation, simply move the switch to closed position and pull firmly back on the load rod and then try to open again. Next week we will check out the mounting of the switch to the assembly. I looked at this last night but did not see a problem in how the switch was mounted or its electrical connections. maybe Ted can have a look at this next week also.
