Further inspection revealed that the lower vibration isolation pads that support the entire assembly are no longer inflated above the pressure necessary to lift the platform up. Needed is compressed N2 or air with a shrader type valve to inflate the pads for normal operation. I checked the conections on the back of the camera and found nothing unusual. Likely an intermittent problem signal line or noisy BNC connector from the camera. JWC
