From jwc at snf.stanford.edu Mon Mar 24 17:14:57 2008 From: jwc at snf.stanford.edu (James Conway) Date: Mon, 24 Mar 2008 16:14:57 -0800 Subject: [Fwd: Re: Shutdown sem4160 SNF 2008-03-22 14:31:59: cannot unload sample] Message-ID: <47E84401.3070305@snf.stanford.edu> Good Afternoon SEM4160 Users: Users are requested to be more diligent with following the Load and Unload procedure instructions and be sure to be gentle with the mechanical assemblies. Upon inspection this morning to retrieve a sample holder mount from the stage we noted a large accumulations of scratches and wear on the Stage assembly fixture. This was likely from User(s) whom had attempted to remove their sample stage assembly after their session but without the Stage being homed to the proper Exchange position. We also took this opportunity to completely clean the stage fixturing of all traces of carbon tape residues, sample mounting dots, sharpie pen and other debris. Users are requested to use just a single carbon sticky dot. Note that a dot can be reused many times and Users don't generally need to use a new dot each time they load. The Load Lock and sample exchange system were tested several times and no problems were encountered. Please contact me if you run into any problems on this tool during the daytime hours. Thank you for your assistance, James Conway Ebeam Lab -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: Shutdown sem4160 SNF 2008-03-22 14:31:59: cannot unload sample Date: Mon, 24 Mar 2008 14:59:15 -0700 From: jwc at snf.stanford.edu To: sem4160-pcs at snf.stanford.edu retrieved sample holder from chamber -- cleaned sample holder and stage fixturing. metal wear debris found and cleaned up. back up for users JWC and Ted Berg -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
