Hello
I would like to introduce to you the LASAW-NC instrument. The LASAW-NC
uses laser generated surface acoustic waves to measure physical
properties of density, elasticity, and Poissons ratio of thin film
materials. The LASAW technique is especially effective for soft thin
film materials such as polymers and organo-silicates.
The LASAW-NC can effectively analyze these properties for most thin
film materials down to around 1000 angstroms in thickness, a
substantial improvement over the 3000 angstroms limitation of nano-
indentation.
More information about the LASAW-NC is available at our website at
www.metatechnica.com/lasawNC.html.
Sincerely,
Kurt Schoedel
