Message-ID: I was unable to get the stage to drive reliably, and found an additional problem, the z-drive was jammed. With Jim McVittie's help I was able to unjam the z-drive. I changed nothing on the stage in/out drive, but I was able to exercise in and out successfully 10 times. I was also able to measure a map. On cycle 18 it did not complete the entire movement from park to home. This means the problem is NOT the limit switch, since it loses counts on the stepper motor on the way in. I zeroed the system by using the motor control function, getting the location approximately correct and then sending the stage to home. It properly hit the limit switch and set the stage location correctly.
