It is built-up polymer. I have tried to remove it by heated acetone followed by a 'good scrubbing' and a multi day room temp acetone soak. Most of it has been removed. The reports of the build polymer have coincided with flucuations in the He flow and pressure. We don't know if the two are related, but after the holder was cleaned and the o-ring was replace, the He has settled down. FOr your next few uses of the holder, please keep a careful eye on the He measurements and report back any problems. Thanks.
