...but don't forget to cool down the hot plate before!!
I think that acetone auto-ignite around 60 deg C...

This is a very good idea, soak the wipe with acetone and clean the hot
plate. DO NOT SQUIRT THE ACETONE ON THE HOT PLATE , YOU WILL DAMAGE THE
SYSTEM
