The YES Vapor Prime Oven will be shutdown and unavalable from 6:00AM to 10:00AM on Wednesday July 11,2007. We will be cooling the oven down so that we can replace the door latch. Please make altenate plans during this downtime and check on status in case we finish early. Thanks.. Message-ID: <469BD721.8010407@snf.stanford.edu> Hi everyone -- Just to let you know about a change in procedure. The YES oven is now officially on Coral and interlocked. There is NO LAB CHARGE for use of the YES oven, but it MUST be enabled in order for it to run. By having the YES oven on Coral, we can track its performance and usage. We can also better troubleshoot problems if we have a documentable history on its use. However.... Please understand that just because there is no fee that you can leave it enabled.... Remember, that when you are enabled on a tool, you are responsible for it! Everyone previously qualified on svgcoat, headway2, and laurell-R who has been active in the lab over the past year should be automatically qualified to use the YES oven. If not, please contact a staff member. (If you have not used the lab for over a year, a refresher on lab safety is required -- see the Lab Manual on Policies & Procedures.) You can check for yourself (I believe) on the Coral Resource page by checking "Roles." If there are any questions, let us know -- Mary -- Mary X. As you probably know, Gary Sosa joined our group as a litho maintenance staffer a few months ago. He's been making great contributions in his quiet, calm way.... but still manages to keep a low profile (smart man that he is.) We would like encourage everyone to take advantage of Gary's expertise (as it seems no encouragement is needed to take advantage of Mario's). So, for the time being, we are going to reallocate equipment responsibilities as follows: Gary: svgcoat and svgdev tracks, ultratech, karlsuss and karlsuss2, ksbonder, and asml Mario: headway2, laurells, evalign, evbond, nikon, and YES So, what does this mean? Equipment problems on these tools should be addressed by the primary person responsible for that tool (as listed above.) If the primary person is out (vacation, for example) the other person will respond. Of course, Gary and Mario will be supporting each other on all equipment issues, but be aware that there may be "handing-off" of information to the primary responsible person. Mahnaz, of course, will be running around coordinating everyone. Thanks for your attention -- Mary -- Mary X. They will be doing planned experiments and training on the ASML. If you have any questions or problems in the litho area, please consult with Gary, Mario, Uli, or me or other favorite staff member -- or wait until the afternoon. Thanks for your patience!
