This could waste a lot of N2. I've replaces a short section of 3/8 parflex with a slightly longer length and a new FastNTite fitting on the end that does into the 90 degree elbow as the O-ring looked somewhat shredded. The opposite end fitting (the 3/8 to 1/4 polypropylene TrueSeal fitting seems to be fine. That's when I heard the really big leak. It turned out that a 1/4 Tygon control tube had aged and torn off which was the source of the loud hiss and the reason that the water didn't come on. So, I replaced the offending hose as well as a nearby length of 1/8 red Tygon that was equally aged as a preventive measure. SRD now functions properly. Note: A good project for the holiday shutdown would be to replace all tygon tubing in all of the SRDs. My suspicion is that several of the other tools are on the verge of similar failures and we should proactively replace these when we have a chance.
