Dear wbnonmetal folks

Some of you might notice that BOE(6:1) bath has some issue.
Whenever I tried to use the bath in the morning, there were lots of white stuff around and over it.
The white stuff is crystallized powder of HF.

It happened almost every day for the last two weeks.
There are two possible reasons.


1) The bath, itself, might vomit the acid from the inside to the outside at night (when no one is around).

2) Some users are a very little bit careless to use the bath and they might spill some acid.


If you see the case like "1)", please report it to the staff asap.
In addition, please use the bath carefully and rinse the bath after your process.

I second Sangmoo. ?More often than not, the 6:1 BOE bath has a lot of white crystals around it when I come use it. ?I have to rinse them off the counter and even the lid all the time. ?I think the cause is, some users don't realize that the 'water' left on the counter is actually BOE and will evaporate to leave solid HF crystals. ?I hope the uninformed users get this message and try to keep the wet bench clean. ?Even if you've rinsed the countertop after use, you'll have to air-gun away the water away; otherwise the next person who comes along has no way of knowing if the liquid is water or acid.

Last time I even found some liquid on top of the lid on the 6:1 BOE bath,
which I had to wash away. Please be very careful when working with
chemicals, and keep the wetbench clean & safe for the next users.
