I spoke with the supplier (Ashland Chemical at the time). The chucks are precipitated NH4F. Most likely, the delivery truck saw some cold weather during shipping. The chucks are slow to go back into solution. The bottles may be used as is, but the etch rate will be reduced. We are ordering more chemicals and monitoring our current supply.
