Subject: Woollam Upgrade Reminder

All,

This is the final reminder that the Woollam Spectral Ellipsomter will 
be upgraded to 1.6um wavelengths beginning Monday, June 11th.  The 
components need to be sent back to JA Woollam for the upgrade.  This 
will probably take a little over a week.

Remember, if you need to collect a spectra please get it done this week.

The components for the upgrade have returned.  They have been 
installed, but not everything has been completed.  Even though the 
system looks like it might be functional, it's not.  Please wait 
until the system is under green light before use.

All,

The upgrade of the JA Woollam spectral ellipsometer to 1.6 um has 
been completed.  The wavelength range of the system now covers from 
210 nm to 1.66 um.

Thank you to the faculty and the School of Engineering for funding 
this up-grade.
