Put torr-seal on the pipe thread connection between the cylinder valve and the gas cylinder.  Will test tomorrow.

After putting Torrseal on the cylinder pipe thread fitting,  pressure rose to 5.3 T (open to XeF2 cylinder) after 2 hours.  Will check pressue after 24 hours.

using xactix today the pump ramps up really loudly whenever the tool is enabled...i've never heard this before.
