I can't ftp to cardinal.stanford.edu or transfer.stanford.edu from the zygo computer using either WS_FTP or the secure shell ftp analog. I've ftp'd succesfully to these sites from another computer. I think network connectivity to this machine may be down.

During some scans there is a message box that pops up and says hardware problem. Immediately trying the scan again without adjusting anything will usually not get the same message.
