When I tried to use the tool, the remote control of the z axis can work one way but not the other, which makes focus way too hard.

The auto control for the z axis was OK when I used Zygo this morning

I set the light level to no red, scan 20 & 40 um high res, watch the screen and see all of my features go through the fringes with plenty of time at the beginning and end of the scan, and yet the screen grab after the scan only shows the deepest of my features (12 um, or I get a no viable data error message.  I tried setting the bottom of the scan to 10 micons above where the deepest feature shows fringes, and still see the scan progress through all of my features, bottom to top and beyond, yet i get no viable data or only the deeper features.  I give up!
