Labmembers are invited to propose and participate in Community Service, which supports projects of general benefit to the Lab community.
Fab Project Courses: E241 & EE412
"Advanced Device Fabrication Processes." These are project-based course focused on the development or characterization of processing methods used for the fabrication of devices. E241 is the newest course and focuses on equipment in the continuously evolving ExFab spaces. EE412 focused primarily on equipment in the cleanroom.
PDMS processing at SNF
Polydimethylsiloxane (PMDS) is a versatile material with a wide variety of research and commercial applications--from microfluidics to flexible electronics to contact lens material. It is inexpensive, easy to work with, and relatively inert and non-toxic. MOCVD Workshop
EE410 and EE312
EE410 was a CMOS IC Fabrication lab course until winter 2015 quarter. For winter 2016, the class was changed from CMOS to Depletion mode NMOS fabrication. In winter 2017 quarter, the class was renumbered as EE312.
